Wooden Fire Door Ei 45

Wooden Fire Door Ei 45

The Ei 45 wooden fire door sits where a fire strategy asks for more than guestroom-level protection but short of escape-route specification: corridor doors serving service areas, riser cupboards, storage and plant-access positions, and subdividing doors in longer hotel and commercial corridors. It delivers 45 minutes of integrity (E) and insulation (I) to EN 1634-1 under the EN 13501-2 framework.

The 54 mm leaf is engineered around a core configuration qualified for the higher rating, with hardwood lipping, extended intumescent seal coverage and heavier-duty hardware. The rating applies to the complete assembly: steel-reinforced frame, EN 1935 grade 13 hinges, EN 1154 closer, EN 12209 lock and matched seals, all CE-marked. Vision panels are offered only within tested sizes.

Where the door faces guest areas, the finish matches the interior scheme — veneer or project-colour lacquer; back-of-house positions usually specify HPL for cleaning and impact resistance. Door leaves in one corridor are batched together so veneer and lacquer colour hold across the run.

Certification documents are available on request. Supply follows the project model: numbered, hardware-matched sets, frame templates, node drawings and install-ready export packing, with remote support for the local contractor. OEM orders for trading companies are produced on the same line and quoted line-item; enquiries are answered within 24 hours.
