Wooden Fire Door Ei 60

Wooden Fire Door Ei 60

The Ei 60 wooden fire door protects the positions where the fire strategy allows no compromise: escape routes, stairwell access, plant rooms, high-rise corridors and — in hospitals and care buildings — clinical corridors where 60 minutes of insulation keeps the evacuation and rescue side safe. It delivers 60 minutes of integrity (E) and insulation (I) to EN 1634-1 under the EN 13501-2 framework.

The leaf is a heavier engineered construction qualified for the 60-minute rating, with hardwood lipping, full-perimeter intumescent coverage and a reinforcement package for the heavier hardware set. As with every rating, the assembly carries the performance: steel-reinforced frame, EN 1935 grade 13 hinges, EN 1154 closer, EN 12209 lock and matched seals, all CE-marked, with vision panels only within tested sizes.

Finishes are project-colour lacquer or veneer where the door faces occupied areas, and HPL where cleaning regimes and trolley impact dominate. Frames, seals and hardware are supplied as one set per door, numbered to the room or position.

Certification documents are available on request. Delivery is install-ready: numbered sets in export-grade crates, frame templates, node drawings and remote support for the local contractor. Medical and commercial programmes typically order by zone; OEM schedules for trading companies run on the same production line. Enquiries are answered within 24 hours.
